Mark's was a non-Mac. It seems Windows Live does retarded stuff when your .Net passport doesn't use a hotmail/msn address. I'm just oblivious to the fact as I never use Microsoft's client.

I just signed in to windowslivehelp.com and there's a big banner at the top: "Windows Live Hotmail is currently experiencing login issues. A small amount of users may receive errors when attempting to login to their Live Hotmail account."
You might want to try again tomorrow. If the problem persists and you can be bothered to finish your profile, you could always ask them.
