Lo peeps My head hurts - as does my neck, shoulders (especially the left one), hips and legs I am also parked in one of the disabled spaces at work and expect my phone to ring any second asking me to shift it....... Speaking of phones - I need a new one. Contract, preferably less than £30 per month, up to 500 minutes any channel talk time and unlimited texts. I don't want to pay for the phone and don't want an iPad-sized thing like the Samsung Galaxy S. Answers on a postcard please to....... Al

And you're not disabled ... how? (Okay, you don't have the official badges and stuff, but I'm sure some leeway can be made in your case.) Morning. Been to see my bones specialist. I am no longer osteoporotic, after around five years of treatment. My spine is virtually normal, and my hips are getting there. Current thinking is to continue the treatment for a further five or so years, then stop and review it for a couple of years. So, all good. I think I can say "Onwards and a bit up to the right".

At my first job not the second West London one as no way was I even going to try and navigate there on a strike day. Besides, tube was closed at Tottenham anyway.
Had a lovely lay in until 7.40am and train was blissfully half empty when I caught it at 8.30am.
Onwards and sideways

Greetings.
There appears to be a pair of hungry cats, angling for more grub. They've already had the first sitting, and they want seconds!
Onwards and sideways.

Lo peeps I'm not in so much pain today - must be the drugs I submitted a letter to my employer yesterday requesting to be considered for early retirement - providing they were willing to enhance my pension. I'm not sure how it will go down but the next stage is to request it on the grounds of ill health. Doc is supportive so I reckon I'm in with a good chance given the cuts in staffing the public sector has to implement over the next 4 years. Pay freeze means that there's no advantage to staying on. It's a very sobering thought though - retirement Al
