This was the app store game of the week not long ago so I thought I'd have a go.

It's absolutely brilliant!

It's available for iPhone adn Android and I suggest everyone give it a try.

The game is a puzzle game based around getting trains from their originating station to the correctly coloured destination by drawing the tracks and switches around the grid.

The trains can collide to merge colours or can even merge from two trains into one. There are various other special squares like paint shops and splitters.

It just seems to go on forever! I struggled to finish the game only to unlock the bonus levels section in which there are almost as many levels again!

Brilliant little game!

Watch the video on the website...

I've had it for a while. It is excellent.

I also have Trainyard Express. It is free but the difference is that the puzzles in that one are completely different from the full game.

There's a ship/boat one too I think, as well as an airport one as well.

This is slightly different from them in that this has a beginning state and the puzzle is to lay the track press go and then get them all into the stations.

Rather than trains coming at you constantly.

I know this is a little left field, but this thread reminded me of the Train (Grave)yard that used to be situated close to the uni in leicester while i was there .. had to walk along a footpath that went through the middle of the place to get to the SU from where i lived ..

Was a very strange sight to behold with a hangover every morning ..
