Yes. They just happen to have a decimal point after the 1st figure.

At the weekend went to see some mates up nr Birmingham – great time
BUT
I went there straight from work rather than going home so took my bag with me. Left it at my mates house – its got my works lappy, works pass, some papers, and my headphones so will need to drive back up to Brum to collect it – so that’s a whole Saturday gone and £50 odd in fuel
Oh well
FAIL!

Stupid work procedures. Discovery's motto on email is 'please consider the environment when printing this email'. New team 'leader' wants is to print 2 build sheets (one for imaging and one for user data and checks) sign it, get user to sign in the scan it then save as pdf to server then attach to call then close the call. Sod that I said to my manager I will complete it on my computer, make sure my name is at bottom which is same as signing, get user to email me saying they are happy then pdf it and attach both to call and close it. No paper involved.
Just been told off because one user didn't get back to me within 5 days so I put in call user didn't respond so closing call. Well as far as I'm concerned team leader is not my boss but my manager is. I said I put a comment in the call saying user has not got back to me so closing it. He said yeah I saw that. So why the hell are you saying anything in first place? Oh because I'm anal like that.
Bah! FAIL! Go be anal elsewhere.

My work is backward like that Need another Dept to do some work for me. So process is Agree scope of works etc with dept - OK Raise internal order – via PC – OK Final “sign off required” – OK EXCEPT The sign off is a physical sign off (Don’t forget this is a purely internal matter). The Dept walk around the sign off sheet to 3 different depts. Scattered around London. They won’t even accept a scanned copy of the signed document Talk about archaic

I had a rather awful concoction made for me a few months ago which appeared to be a mixture of tea and coffee. It was nicknamed a Lattea *groan* Needless to say I didn't let them make a drink for me again for a while.
