Having a game of wind-ups with the wife and she had to take it one step too far...

We were in the kitchen and she came back into the living room, switching the lights off on her way out, even though I was still brewing up.
I walk into the living room and turn the main light on. She absolutely hates that light being on. ;)
She walks over, grabs the tub of ice cream out of my hands, then walks across the living room and puts it on the floor, next to the telly.
I walk over pick it up, then turn OFF the telly, (which she was watching) and sit down again, to enjoy the rest of my ice cream and coffee.

All fairly boring fun up until this point... which is where she went overboard by...

Walking over to my PC and holding the power button in for 10 seconds...

Oblivious to the fact that I hadn't saved the document I was working on, (which I need tomorrow morning) for about an hour.

I also lost about 30 minutes of stuff I'd done on PowerPoint, (also needed for tomorrow morning)

Thanks hun!

It's supposed to, but the only version it offered to recover was the original.

It's not a problem though, as I was doing a presentation on something I know very well, (effective internet searching) so all of the words are in my head.

It was quite amusing watching her expression when I told her how much work I'd lost though.

ok then, just give me a shout if you ever do need any. If u shake the tub it sounds like sweets so it would be funny as a prank if you wrapped it, the warning label on the mealworm says "not edible, may contain nuts" I came to the conclusion that all the mealworm are male

You know as well as I do John that those in the wrong often look to apportion blame elsewhere. ;)

Yes, you are correct and over 20 years in the IT inductry should have taught me that but...

Ina recent post about this very subject, I wrote:

It's not a problem... really. I just thought it might put a smile on someone's face.

A bit like this --> :)

But not this --> :D though

And definitely not like this -->

All done now... just printing off some copies, then I'll copy the files to a USB stick, and email them to myself, just in case, then it's make a brew and go to bed time.

:D
