We have the extension to Jan 5th :D :D :D
plus a brucie bonus of he judge telling off the solicitor from the bank for not doing their job correctly. Apparently they didn't give us (the tenants) the correct notic eperiod of the intention of repossession.
So even though the banks solicitor was not going to oppose our hearing as we had an agreement allready but due to a snafu over paperwork (their fault!) the hearing had to go ahead. She was told quite bluntly to do her job properly. :o

My epic tale of win (well, a late tale of win):
October 28th: Turned 18
October 29th: Got a phonecall to say that I had gained a place on the Accenture Horizons Gap Year Scheme. (8 month London based placement).
October 30th: Went to see Man Utd - Spurs
November 10th: Got a small congratulatory box of chocolates through from Accenture and an email containing the placement contract.

Plus in the middle of all that I started playing 1st team football at school.

WinWinWINNN.

That's good news. At least yo now have some time to find alternative accommodation and won't be out on your ear over Christmas.

Starting a new job today :D

At an engineering firm called Dantone. Because working with laithes = pay, and a no-prospect mind-numbing college course = fail and no pay :)

Well I had a even more mahoosive win on the Euro lottery last Friday – enough to buy both myself and SWMBO a fish supper

After the huge win on the lottery another win for today. The letting agent has phoned to say we have passed all our references (the only thing they didnt want was a sample of DNA and our souls!! ) and thus on the 20th of November, we go to sign a 12 month lease on the new property and get the keys. :D :D :D :D

I think some sparkly stuff shall be quaffed tonight :D

I've won the lottery twice in the last fortnight.
A tenner on Saturday last, and a hooooge £4.80 on the euro millions.

I won't let it change me.

I use my winnings to pay for my next few weeks Euro lottery tickets. I won two consecutive weeks only small amounts but enough to give me a couple of months games. No it has not changed me either.

What's the point of good fortune if you can't share it with those closest to you, Bratty? ;)

If I won millions I woudn't give a penny of it to friends or family, id go abroad and just spend it on third world countries, no mansion, waste of space, no posh fast car, waste of fuel, etc etc

I changed the PSU on my PC's audio amp for one I rescued from the skip.

My curtains are now visibly blowing back and forth with the improved bass :D

Nirvana
