I'm at the Devon County Show tomorrow, and I've been on my feet all day for the last two days.
Now, someone came to our tent and offered free foot rubs. Ace!
However, they're available at the Scientologists tent. Not so ace.

I'm conflicted. I'd really love a foot rub after 3 days of being on my feet all day and dealing with school children, but on the other hand, I think Scientologists might actually be evil incarnate.

No because it will only encourage them and legitimises them.

Think of all the people you'd attract to their tent because of your presence, you'd only be transferring the pain in your feet to your neck and you know they'd get you to sign something to qualify for the foot rub.

But most of all.

Man up, OMFG. :D

Yeah, I know, but I'm stuck in a red tent (how calming is that with 50 yelling school children amped on candy floss?) and well, dammit, I want my free massage!

Religion my arse. It's a cult with famous followers.
The only reasons it's gown so big are:
1) US laws say you can believe anything you want and legally call it a religion.
2) Some people are that stupid and gullible.

Right, I didn't.
I did see some people getting one though. And using their Wheatstone bridges devices - sorry - e-meters to 'see' their thoughts.

Show was busy today too. The cops stopped any more folk from entering at about 2.30-3pm.

I'd go for it.

What is the problem? I've known many Scientologists over the years*. They aren't all scary, many are actually very nice.

* I used to live in East Grinstead, where they had a lot of property and their HQ was a couple of miles outside town at Saint Hill Green.
