No worries. Previews suggest it doesn't add from AC2 massively (some nice features but gameplay is essentially the same) but it's the best in the series to date. Can't wait.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops cheats revealedA host of cheats for Call Of Duty: Black Ops have been revealed online by players - and you can get 'em right here. To gain access to the game's cheats, you first have ensure you're in the main menu screen - where you're strapped into a chair in a bloody T-shirt. You then alternatively tap the trigger shoulder buttons on your pad of choice, around five times on each. This frees you from your chair. From here, you can stroll over to a computer screen on the far right, at which point the game will offer you the chance to hold a button to interact. If you do so, you gain access to Black Ops' Central Intelligence Data screen - or the cheat code screen in other words. From here, you can unlock Zombie maps, Campaign mission extras and more. The most important codes are: DOA - Unlocks top-down shooter Dead Ops 3ARC INTEL - Unlocks all in-game intel 3ARC UNLOCK - Unlocks all Zombie Mode maps ZORK - Unlocks a retro text adventure [As with all cheats, early signs suggest these might affect your Trophies / Achievements etc.] Plenty more cheats, hits and tips are included in the below user video - but feel free to let us know in the comments if anything's been missed... http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=275468Further to what Fogmeister posted

Meh, after MW2 I'm done with the Call of Duty franchise. The next purchase is probably going to be Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

I've got a growing backlog of games now. With GT5 and AC:Brotherhood this month that's my time taken but I've yet to pick up Fable III, Red Dead Redemption, Dead Rising 2 and GOWIII. I think I'm going to have to quit work and devote my life to gaming. Have the tories stopped giving people benefits yet...........

Loving it. It's more of the same to be honest but a bit better too. The plot is good, location (Rome) is awesome. It's Assassin's Creed 2+ I guess. I would recommend it if you liked AC2.

Since I bought the game, I was repeatedly frustrated by failed migration of hosts, getting kicked out of parties and lobbies, not being able to join. It got to the extent where I didn't play this game for three weeks!
However, this morning, I tried DMZ hosting for my PS3. Once I tried a youtube guide, my NAT type was suddenly open (from moderate) and now me and my mates are able to join each other/host parties.
In fact, I'm so stoked, I'm gonna put this in the win thread.
Honestly guys, head over to youtube and type in NAT PS3 or PS3 DMZ. Either way, you'll come across the walkthrough. After that, reboot everything, insert the MW2 disc (providing you have it), go through the menus so it downloads the player stats (ie before Find Match). The NAT type should be open. Eject the disc without quitting the game, and insert the Black Ops disc. Straight to multiplayer and the NAT type should be (and remain) open. Awesomeness.

Activision may shut down Black Ops PS3 servers - reportActivision could shut down the PlayStation 3's Black Ops servers as a response to a "huge number of connection problems with the game" according to reports. The response comes in a blog post from independent journalist Jason Koblovsky who contacted Activision about connection problems he and other PS3 Black Ops players have been experiencing. He claims to have gotten the following response from an Activision representative: "Well I have nothing else to offer and I too follow forums and have many friends who play and enjoy the game for all of its features. As an avid gamer, I would also disagree with any legalities involving a single aspect of a game as online experience may change at any time." "The publishers have the right to shut down the servers for their game at any time as well which based on the number of reported posts from users may be a viable solution over the free PSN." It's an odd response and, in our opinion, not at all likely to happen, but Activision has been getting plenty of aggravation recently when it comes to Call of Duty online. Reports on Monday said that Modern Warfare 2 has been overrun by exploits and hacks with Infinity Ward pointing the figure at Sony, saying the problems can't be fixed until the security of the PS3 is addressed. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/28 ... rs-report/

So let me get this straight - they release a game, there's problems with the multiplayer bit (which is what most people buy it for) and, instead of fixing it, they plan on shutting down the servers, so no multiplayer? That sounds exactly like the sort of thinking the Govt. does!

I'm assuming it would only be temporary if it ever did happen, but there's no doubt they have to do something...

Black Ops PS3 patch goes livehttp://www.computerandvideogames.com/28 ... goes-live/It's still freezing, it takes longer than ever to get off the Treyarch screen, but hey, now there's a funky effect for your character when you change your loadout As pointed out in the comments, most of the stuff they announce with each patch is stuff they've already said they've fixed!

Downloaded the patch for ps3 and it doesn't seem to have done anything! Still lots of host migration, lag issues etc.

+1, I'm gonna mess around with some of the MP offerings, but I think I'm selling it to HMV or someone...
