How can the endless sea of the interwebs bore you?

I know exactly what adidan means, some days I sit at the screen thinking, I have the whole web in front of me, and nothing to visit that I think would interest me. Hmph.

I've just started my beer brewing. I've never done it before, so fingers crossed! If it goes well, I will hopefully have forty pints of gorgeous beer Peter.

Most of the kits are OK but you do get whaqt you pay for. Did you use a kit or start from raw ingredients? Did you have to add sugar? I've stopped drinking beer, but I've been brewing wine from all kinds. Sadly, the best wine is made from quality grapes and costs lots. I was looking at some wheat beer kits recently and might give one a go. Hope your's works out. It's very satisfying when it does

Hmm... I may make some ginger beer tomorrow! Today I've been very bored. Woke up at 9:50 and jumped out of bed as training started at 10 and then did f*ck all all day. I watched the F1 but fell asleep before the end as I had forgotten to take some tablets that I need and then sat around doing nothing. I was going to go out with my camera but I discovered that the battery was dead so put it on charge for tomorrow. Am I the only person who doesn't like bank holiday weekends? Everyone in the house goes home to family etc and it leaves me here. I don't really know anyone else but the people I do know are also doing stuff with family. And the stuff I ordered from Dabs won't be here till Thursday or Friday

I'm not too sure what I used. It was a treacle-like substance in a big tin, to which I added water, sugar and yeast. It smells mighty nice Peter.

I'm annoyed because: 1. I woke up stupidly early for no obvious reason. 2. They didn't empty my bin yesterday for no obvious reason. WTF am I supposed to do for the next 16 days??? They emptied my neighbours. Mine was in the usual place, but they didn't touch it. It wasn't over-full or anything. It's the "green" bin you put garden waste in, so it's especially annoying. It's completely full and the grass needs cutting and the hedges need trimming, and because of the bank holiday they were supposed to collect it 2 days early. Gonna have to phone them on Tuesday. In the mean time, I'll just have to dump everything in a big pile in the middle of the drive. I wouldn't have minded if it was the "black" bin since there's never anything in it anyway, but it's the "green" one. It's the absolute height of the growing season, so this time of year I usually fill the thing within hours of them emptying it - especially given I have a full week of solid gardening before I start work.

+1. The internets suck these days. Oh well, got to help my dad fix the car. Seems the battery's knackered, and the actuator for the turbocharger is stuck on. That means it lags like hell, and comes on in a massive axle-snapping wave at about 3.5k revs. Redline = 5k
