Whats on my mind...
Why is my house so fracking cold! Should I stay here and suffer the cold while pretending to save a bit of money or should I get a nice flat to myself that's nice and warm? Argh!

How f**king selfish my mum is
She managed to get my dads car stuck on the hill by my house, shouted at me to come help her as she was in the middle of the road (without any hazard lights on) and kept shouting at me when I was telling her that she has to get the biting point on the car before taking the handbrake off of she would just slip down the hill
Then when I get back from work I get told how selfish I was for telling her I was in a rush to get to my physio appointment and raising my voice because she was panicking, which I was late for because of her..... (as soon as I even slightly inconvenience her in the morning I get an earful about how much of a rush she is in)
I can't wait to move out as soon as I can get the money together

Out of interest, does she have a valid licence to drive a car with normal transmission? I'm pretty sure hill-starts were on the test when I did it

Yes, but a reverse hill start on snow isn't Her driving genuinely scares me, granted I have only had my licence 5 years, was in 2 accidents (one was 50/50 and a light knock (resolved privately) and the other the other driver was at fault..and wrote my car off) and 0 points on my licence, IIRC if she didn't have protected no claims I'd have a higher NCB than her. To put it another way.. To add me to her policy would increase hers by the mandatory under 25 amount and that is it To add hers to mine actually doubled my policy I have a car with more power, less torque and FRD instead of 4WD (A4 1.8T over a Honda CRV), and I had absolutely no issues driving in the snow, mainly because I took my time, allowed for a longer journey and anticipated what was in front of me Yes I started to lose control on my way into work (one of the lanes on the A1 was practically an ice rink) but I was going at a suitable speed in a suitable gear so I had the time and means to correct the skid I started to enter. Things like that you can't predict/avoid (both lanes were covered) but you can correct to avoid an accident.... she was sat in the middle of a corner on the hill with no lights on of any kind and just sat in her car like a lemon Really makes my pee boil atm, sooner I can move out the better tbh.
