My cheap Samsung Monte has a relatively poor camera but it's got a lot of feature modes. I tried the panorama out today when I was out for a walk with Emily. It's better than the system where you line up a translucent third of the previous frame but not as automatic as Sony's sweep panorama. Taken in landscape format Taken in portrait format

It's 6 but I think it reduces the quality of each one to 0.6mp so the overall image is still on 3.2mp or something. I think. Like I said the camera is pants but its one of the nicest panorama functions I've used to be honest. And your last photo really made me want to go for a swim!

Thanks. I wanted to go for a swim in the Nile, but my travelling companions either didn't or wouldn't. I really didn't want to be the only one, so I also didn't. Mark

The River Nile. The Irish Sea. Yes, I see the similarities. Actually, in places, the Nile was as litter strewn as the Belfast port is, so my flippancy isn't all in humour. Mark

So you're saying that you wanted to go for a swim but didn't...? Sounds like somebody is in denial. Or not, as the Casey* may be. Sorry, poor pun overload. I'll get my coat and close the door on the way out. :etc: * Deliberate pun.
