Good for you.

I remember when I first got works healthcare, years ago. They were really good, they even paid for my GF to have a private consultation and get her back scanned within a week, rather than several months on the NHS, even though she is a GF and not a wife.

Bf told me he got his ingrown toe nail sorted by paying for the op himself. NHS wanted him to wait 2 years in pain.

Hmm, could have hit it with a hammer and the nail would fall of by itself. :o

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

If it was that simple he would've done. Put it this way they cut so much toe away he doesn't have a toe nail now. He doesn't have pretty feet.

Does any man have pretty feet?

As men generally wear more suitable footwear than women I would say yes. The lack of hair doesn't overcome hard skin, callouses and bunions.

I'd agree with that actually. Most women insist on wearing tight, high shoes all the time. I stopped wearing shoes like that daily years ago. Now I call them my cab shoes and only wear them on special occasions.

I got my knee done in 4 days once I went with Dad's work's policy. This was after 5 weeks of NHS fun. 8 months later the NHS phoned and offered me a bed in Derby, and a bus-fare there (No mention of the way back!).

The ice has all but vanished now - at least from the parts of Belfast I walk across.
The bits that do remain are treacherous. Partial melting, re-freezing, partial melting, re-freezing, partial melting, re-freezing, partial melting …

I'm in the council-backwater that is 'the East', and those are the exact conditions nearly everywhere

Lo peeps

Minus 7*C is practically tropical as opposed to the -12*C we had last night. Snow showers and freezing fog today but the good thing is that getting the snow off the car is easier. Took me half an hour last night to defrost the ice from the inside of the car though.....

Could be worse.... you could be in Poland where that kind of weather is the norm
