There is quite a big campaign in Oz at the moment.

Call 000 if a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to life.
Call xxx at all other times.

Are there any pictures of this women yet, just to enforce the stereotype? Also she mentioned that the snowman had teaspoons for arms, how small was it???

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I think we are getting something similar here.

I've seen a number of posters already. I think the number is 101

All Police Forces, even without 101, have a local number. I highly think she doesn't have the capacity to understand that.

A national number for non-emergencies would be good though.

True. I know it's available in the whole of Wales and up here in the North East but I'm not entirely sure how many places it's be rolled out to in the UK as of yet.

Edit: It's the SNEN (single non-emergency number) BTW, AFAIK, IIRC... :D

The force said the woman, from Chatham, thought the incident required their involvement because she used pound coins for eyes and teaspoons for arms.

During the call the woman said: "It ain't a nice road but you don't expect someone to nick your snowman."

Should they be sovereigns for eyes? ;)

My thought was had it melted?
