Jesus, what an emotive and essential website, I just watched a bunch of [LIFTED] horrible idiots talk up an encounter with a bunch of photographers into a combat situation with RPGs and AK47s, no-one waits for any "shots" to be fired by the targets, and no-one offers a rebuttal to the initial assumptions, get this culture out of the American military.

I'd like wikileaks to get hold of and release the David Kelly autopsy report.

There is a part of me thinking that if they really, really, wanted to they could have stopped the leaks. It would be an opportune time to throw in some misinformation to get muddled in with leaks that, in general, aren't a surprise to anybody. Nobody would then be any the wiser, not even Wikileaks...
That's just what I would do though.

That website reads like the fevered imagination of a 15 year old though.

I heard that the CIA and MOSSAD and MI6 actually run that website, and it's really all a double bluff to make you think that. THEY want YOU to be confused!! That way the REAL enemies of the PEOPLE (ILLUMINATI/MASONS/BLYTONIANS) can get on with destabilising our WHOLE way of life and establishing THEIR leaders (who may or may not be INTERDIMENSIONAL REPTILIAN SHAPESHIFTERS) and asserting their control upon us!! WAKE UP PEOPLE or else we'll all be used as biological batteries to power the machines nefarious devices! Only the TRUE PURE HUMANS who live OFF THE GRID will escape!! Act now!!!

There is a balance to be found between conspiracy and naivety.

Equally, it's too easy to point the 'false flag' finger at every event that affects international relations. Who benefits from a lapse in international relations?

I'm sticking with my idea, wikileaks hasn't thrown up anything of surprise so far. Not really. That is except for China's apparent view on a unified Korea. That would be a conincidental handy little tid-bit to throw in if you were moving your navy over to that region of the world... The cost of some minor diplomatic relation red faces would be a small price to pay... Then again that may all be b0ll0cks.

hmmm as much as the opening fire on the rest of the people was wrong and illegal, i can understand why they engaged. there are two persons carrying weapons from 03:41 in the "short" version of the video from the Apache, its not unusual for persons to stage attack for a "photo op" but doesn't justify opening fire on non-combatants. maybe if they weren't so keen to "set up" an engagement then this sorry incident would never have happened. you can even see the armed guys holding back in the beginning. as i said doesn't justify the whole episode but if you go around waving a RPG at folks in a combat area then your asking for trouble. im glad that journalist are there to document, however when they are motivated by others means the journalism then it just makes more problems, a good example is the Al Durah incident in the Gaza strip

Woodward (of Woodward and Bernstein fame) was interviewed last week and was (partly) behind him. My problem is, there is a lot of useful material there, which could be turned into a story, or stories, but it is mainly source material, with no thread of story or conclusions being drawn.
In a time where investigative reporting has stagnated to a mere shadow of its former self, it is better than nothing, but it isn't a replacement for good investigative reporting - it is basically the first part of the job, maybe the first 10-20% of what a good investigative journalist does, but compared to the MKULTRAs on the American news networks, it is sorely needed.
