Sony has launched a new HD Bravia TV boasting an in-built PS2.

The 22 inch KDL22PX300 comes with one PS2 controller, supports 720p and features Bravia Internet Video Access.

There are four HDMI sockets, SCART, component, a PC input, twin optical digital outputs, headphone and audio outputs, three USB sockets and two Ethernet connections. Basically, it's a comprehensively equipped 22 inch set.

For the late, late adopters among you, it can be picked up for around £200.

I could see that being a bit of a cult product - I'm certainly surprised at the price considering it's from Sony :o

Build in my arse

Putting my pc into the boot of my car doesn't mean it's got a built in quad core pc with 8gb ram

It's just in that big ass base

Exactly what I though. When I read the heading (in another article) the other day I was expecting it to look like an ordinary TV with a couple of PS2 ports on the side. I did not expect to see a TV mounted directly ontop of a PS2.

I think a better comparison would be putting the PC in a trailer that is attached to your car in this case.

With the PS2 slim being 4+ years old now I was expecting it to be part of the screen as well.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
