Shaved the head right down with a shaving razor and I don't know what I was expecting, but it isn't much different to what was achieved with the electric clippers (I'll maybe keep doing it if it keeps the hair at bay for a bit longer though) :|

None of this changes the fact that I now wish to be addressed as 'Luthor' though

Morning all,

Currently trundling across the Solent, prior to a three hour drive for a boring meeting of questionable value.

I hope it's not too grim up north today.

Have a good one.

Morning.

The sun is shining again. I'm not going to fall for that old trick, though, oh no. The world is still insane, and I'll make sure it's taking the meds before I believe the sun is shining and making me feel happy for a while.

:)

I seem to be coming down with a tickly throat and mild cough. Damn you, Wigan, for spreading germs in such an abandoned way!

Morning all.

Sitting in an office in London preping a multicast image ready for when Caz arrives at work.

It's going to be a busy day.

I was told yesterday that I'm likely to be employed by my current place of work until at least the end of January, which I think is pretty okay. With that in mind I used up the remainder of my holidays from this year by asking for pretty much the whole of January off.
If the do get rid of me at the end of that month then at least I'll have some time next year to prepare by looking around a bit.
I guess this also means you'll not hear me whinging on any more about my work situation, so it's a win for me and it's a win for you. (8+)
Mornin' all.

Mark

Moin moin

Had a lovely snugly lie-in with Mrs. B. Then I turned on Sky Arts 2 HD and watched the Mikado. Now watching a documentary about Johnny Cash.

Triffic

Morning all,

Imagine going into college, knowing that the first session you have is English, and leaving your reading glasses at home. I didn't do that but half of the students, (only 6 today, as opposed to the usual 12) did!

That didn't help with the word searches I had planned.

Also the bloody interactive whiteboard software wasn't working, so I couldn't even get it on the big screen...

Bloody software! Bloody IT department for not bothering to help and bloody everything else!

Have a great day everyone, and good luck with the job search Mark.

:)

Morning all,

Not sure how the Christmas cake went, I ended up leaving it in the oven for seven hours (Faye had turned it down so low that for two hours the oven was expelling cold air). I'm really hoping it's ok....
So, I went to bed at 1:30 and have now been up for forty minutes...I'm sleepy and somewhat irritable.

Morning all. Not terribly awake, sat here listening to random bits of live music on Youtube.

Morning all,

Only one session today... an hour of ICT with the graphics students this afternoon. In the meantime we'll be doing the formal handover of the photography class, (I take it over in January) and I'll be doing my best to look busy!

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Greetings.

I seem to have acquired the sniffles. I slept well enough, but woke a few times overheated.

Still, it'll build up my antibodies for the rest of winter.

Osteopath shortly. Joy.
