A wedding ring will save your life.
Aye, like [LIFTED] it will.
If only that wedding ring was welded to the front of the sub in the first place, then the whole disaster would have never happened.
Awesome comment is awesome, Matt.

[LIFTED] WOMEN!!!! Where are the real ones?? The [LIFTED] proper ones, who are strong and independent and have a clue, but are still womanly and happy to take direction and work with you. It's [LIFTED] [LIFTED]. They're all just insecure, immature, whiney [LIFTED] girls and it's really [LIFTED] me off now

In my experience they all have a soft centre.

Mmmmm, soft centre....

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

Yes, but you couldn't eat a whole one.

I'm reminded of a scene from a film. Can't remember the name but George Clooney is in it and he plays a management consultant who specialises in going into companies that have to fire lots of staff and doing the firing. Him, his ex (who he happens to have run into) and his assistant are sat in an airport lounge and they're discussing 'dating' as the colonials would describe it. The assistant, who is both relatively young and female, says to Clooney's ex something like 'It's a wonder we bother dating men at all. Why don't we just date each other?'

And the ex, who is quite a bit older and wiser, says to the assistant 'Tried that. we're no walk in the park either honey'.

Quite a lot of women I know platonically seem to have the attitude of the assistant, that they are no trouble at all and are perfectly logical and rational and reasonable and if only men were like that everything would go swimmingly. This is partly why I only know them platonically .

It is, it seems, a cyclical problem. Both men and women are prepared to put up with sub-standard behaviour from the opposite sex and the longer it goes unchallenged, the worse it gets for those of us who actually give a [LIFTED]. If men had more self-respect and wouldn't simply do anything to get a woman's attention and approval, they might put up with less [LIFTED] and thereby create an anthropological/socio-evolutionary preference for authentic, [LIFTED] behaviour.

Of course, I'm living in a dream world as per.

I used to think people were exaggerating when they said they couldn't remember parts of the night before, but actually it's scary the total blank I have of parts of last night, never happened before, totally surprised to see I got £20 out of the bank... must have been for the food I can barely remember buying.

You may be externalising your own problems here, that's such a broad statement it can't even begin to be true, I think you might be over-thinking things a little, christ i do that most of the time, but when I look back on big events I can see that really I should have just been going with the flow and relaxing a little more, or taking control of a situation when I was letting people get the upper hand :)

Those two options are opposite, and the choice it not always easy to make - except of course with 20:20 hindsight

There are so many examples of me doing the one when I should have done the other. Generally, I act to much when I'm drunk and not enough when I'm sober. Perhaps I should spend the rest of my life "a bit merry" to try and strike a balance? "Learning from mistakes" isn't something I'm that good at :|

That's also true of my snooker and pool playing. One pint of good cider is exactly the correct amount to steady my hand and lubricate my flow.

Thinking about it, I suppose it's frustration that at the time I knew what I SHOULD have been doing, but was too busy trying to think what the "right" thing to do was, instead of just doing something, anything, any decision will do, as long as you know you want to do it.

Stupidly sore tooth today, this will be the third time I'm going back to get it sorted since it was done (can barely do anything while it's hurting and it's going off randomly)

Is there any great loss in not having wisdom teeth? Tempted to ask her to just take them out as they keep on flaring up
