Is Sas about? I've submitted a couple of articles over the past two days and not heard anything yet...Hope you're OK Sas!

Today is like any other day off, there is house work to be done then I will feel bored for the rest of the day...

Have a good one all!

15cm of snow yesterday and the day before, frozen over night. The roads have been one big sheet of ice for the last 3 days. The autobahns around here got affected by lorries not driving with winter tyres causing 50km jams. That'll be 80€ each, plus 3 points...

The roads around here haven't had any big delays. Because of the ice, most people were down to driving at 30mph, so it took nearly an hour to get to work, instead of half an hour, but other than that it has been reasonably good.

Somebody crashed into a tree outside our office yesterday, looks like he had a heart attack at the wheel.

Just bought our Christmas tree. The first one I've ever bought.

Morning all.

Still no snow in sunny Peterborough. I shouldn't complain though as I'm meant to be driving up to Scotland next week at some point
Could get interesting.

Have a great day folks.

We had another 5-6cm of snow overnight.

The snow in the wheelarches had iced up, so the wheels were frozen to the body and I couldn't turn the steering wheel. 10 minutes with a hammer and chisel and the lumps of ice had been removed, car ready for tomorrow morning now.

I'm around, just haven't had time to reply to people about stuff.

It's snowy & driving conditions are fun.
I'm rather glad I'm getting the train tomorrow.

Evening all,

A strange and interesting day so far, and it's just beginning to dawn on me that, for the first time in over ten years, I'm not at work over the Christmas holidays.

At one stage I thought I wasn't, but now I have to come in on the 27th. I will, however, be spending Christmas by myself (assuming the housemate doesn't have to cancel his travel plans to go and see his family) for the very first time.
I've never actually spent Christmas Day by myself before.

We've had another foot of snow overnight, although as I walk to work this shouldn't be such a problem. However, it's likely to make worse very busy this morning as there will almost certainly be rather reduced numbers in the office. Here's hoping I'm doing the Onsite line today.
