Morning all.

No snow here in Peterborough this morning although we do have freezing fog.
Amazon have sent me two copies of the A-Team blu-ray because the first one apparently disappeared up Royal Mails fundament only to arrive a about 5 days after the estimated delivery date (I assume because of the snow). I had an e-mail this morning saying they'd sent me another copy and it may not arrive before I go up to Scotland for Christmas (assuming the roads aren't blocked).

Such fun!

Anywho, have a great day folks.

Morning all. Just made it to work from Lahndon. Trains were slow this morning, if not cancelled. There was snow inside my freakin' train - Pictures have been supplied and verified by those who require them. (Anyone else thinking this could be a new Samuel L Jackson film?) Amateur Transplants were awesome last night.

Morning all – got into work at around the normal time – although left home a wee bit earlier. Will be keeping an eagle eye on the trains and if they look to bad will leave early to make sure I get home

I'm near Old Street all day if you fancy a coffee.

Made it to London today through the snow & random woman fainting on me.

Better get on with stuff before the big switch over tonight

Morning all

Thankfully checked the live departures board this morning at home to find they had cancelled my train so was able to leave a bit sharpish and get the earlier one

Other than that......

Morning.

More snow last night, but it seems to be thawing a little today. Might clear the car and dig the drive out a bit in case we need to go anywhere tomorrow. We will need to top up the milk before Chrimble hits properly.

Best Beloved is over the worst of his coughs and sniffles now. We both had a reasonably good night's sleep last night, which is a bonus. I've also converted him to the Sherlock Holmes adventures on audio book.

The BBC News again seems to forget there is a country beyond London, and happily ignores anything outside the geographical UK as far as the effects of weather are concerned. I despair, sometimes. I want to sit down with a coffee and get an overview of the world news. I don't care about people whinging because they can't fly out somewhere hot because of the snow. There are homeless people on the streets dying in the snow, so why do I care about selfish people unable to sunbathe on Christmas Day because their flight is cancelled. Oh, boo-bloody-hoo.

</rant>

Morning all.

Bright and sunny this morning in Peterborough although I gather the train station has had a minor catastrophe because the power lines have died at Huntingdon.
Deep joy for those meant to be travelling by train today (like my boss for example).

Anywho, have a great day everyone.

Well I'm still in Bath. Staying down until tomorrow as well, seeing as I've got a hospital appointment. Then I'll try and get back home.

First and probably last post of the day.

I'm trying to find out how to change the driver side headlamp on my C3, (56 plate) and am not having any luck yet.

Grrrr.

On the bright side, I'm not back at work until 4th Jan :D

Have a great... you know!

John.

:)
