Seriously for a minute, Kylie made some absolutely cracking pop music (and indeed videos) during what you might call the 'Deconstruction period' that don't get near enough credit because they weren't huge smash hits at the time. I suspect if she released them today people would rave about them. 'Put Yourself in My Place', 'Confide In Me' and 'Breathe' are, looked at with the gift of hindsight, among the best things she's done. Mind you, that 'Put Yourself in my place' video was made 15 years ago.

Kylie's stuff isn't actually stuff I'd play day in day out. But as a kind of fan of music as a whole, you have to say the sheer longevity and consistency she's managed is pretty amazing.

He played with similar tricks in Star Guitar by the Chemical Brothers. They're listed as the same year but I don't know which came first.
