Hello everybody,
I'm setting up a website which is running Textpattern (which I'm using because I'm fairly familiar with how it works, unlike Joomla! and Drupal et al).
I want to change the default styling (which is rather boring and, frankly, barely web 1.0) to suit my needs. However, I have little to no knowledge of CSS or creating CSS style sheets, and I feel guilty for continuing to ask my friends to bail me out.
So, anyone know a good book or online guide?

This one is brilliant http://www.w3schools.com/css/ also get the relevant developer tool bars plug ins etc. If you use FF then have a look in the FF plug ins thread in this board.

A complete guess, but does the project offer design docs or similar?

CSS Mastery is the best book in the business.

I have a number of O'reily reference guides, and the CSS one is quite handy, once you've learnt it.

Are they the ones with animals on the front? I've got one for C which I think has a cow on the front, and one for PHP which I think has a turtle on the front? Anyway I agree they're very good, but not for learning from.
