Morning.

Yes, thanks, we did survive. It was touch and go yesterday morning, but it got better once we popped next door and helped them consume dinner. We spent most of the rest of the day talking, laughing and boozing.

Then we came home and had a fairly early night, and slept enough to make up for the previous night.

Gloriously sunny morning here, but I'm tucked up nice and cozy. To celebrate Christmas, I think I'll sort out the figures for my tax return.

Got up about an hour ago, and I think I'm going to go back to bed after I make myself a brew.
Today is not a good day.
Speak to you all again tomorrow from work.

I always feel really melancholic coming up to new years, not an especially happy time, time to light a fire under my arse though. How to predict your future? Look at what you do every day now, your future will be remarkably similar if you just stick to your pattern, are you where you want to be? Etc.

Mornin' all.
It rained here all night last night, and still there's stubborn little bits of ice that linger.
I'm hoping my car starts, because it's still raining now and I don't want to walk to work in the rain this morning.

Hello.

Might venture forth into the world today, pick up some provisions, and get a Snow Leopard.

Other than that, the world can go [LIFTED] itself.

Lo peeps

The Mac household is at that 'in between' stage where the expectations of Crimbo have either been realised or fallen through (delete as appropriate). We have to survive each other for the best part of the next 5 days before the next festive milestone but without the escape of work to ease the journey, however, the promise of a trip to Inverness to see a film has at least kept the boys from killing each other.

It's time now to dispose of the leftovers/nibbles that were purchased with such high expectations a few days ago so it's pate/cheese/biscuits and some mini sausage rolls for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I shall also make a pan of lentil soup :D

Afternoon all.

Looks like the ice and snow might actually have started to thaw in earnest round here. I won't be holding my breath however.

Have a great day folks.

Evenin all and hello from Deutschland.

I have had the best (or possibly the second if you count the bike) christmas ever! I've spent it at my father-in-law's house in the Erzgebirge (German Ore Mountains). For those of you not in the know, the Germans call this area Weihnachtsland (Christmasland). It's been chuffing superb!

It started snowing at lunchtime on Xmas eve and only just stopped this afternoon - 3 days baby!

So from now on, the piss-poor, moany, up-yourself effort that we British make can kiss my rusty metal ass!

Oh and btw, I should be at the Christmas Oratorium in Schwarzenburg but I've picked up a 24hr bug thingy and spent last night sh!tting my brains out. Not that I much fancied listening to hours of Bach sat outside when it's -8°C. ;)

Anyways I'll write a full report on what happened when I get back in a couple of days.

Busy day at the office yesterday.

At the orthopaedic specialist this morning, after hurting my newly operated heel whilst Christmas shopping.

Now it looks like I'm coming down with tonsilitus. :(

Morning.

Can't wait for spring now. Can't wait to see the back of 2010.

Time for breakfast.

Afternoon.

Currently stuck at the in-laws in the middle of nowhere (well Norfolk, near the broads).
Almost run out of magazines and the internet is so slow it's amazing.

Might try to download MAMP to do some website testing this afternoon or maybe pop to Norwich to buy myself a kindle (to alleviate the boredom with a new toy)
