Afternoon all. Will shortly be heading into town to watch Tron Legacy at the Imax cinema.
I do hope it's a good film.

Anywho, have a great day folks.

Thanks, but I didn't. But you all knew that anyway.

Morning.

The snow has all but gone, and we're back to the standard English winter of mist and murk. I chuckled at the BBC Weatherguessers having to explain the patches of white on their maps meant fog, not snow. Epic graphic design FAIL!

Our main oven's fan has finally croaked, some 18 months after we purchased its replacement. I think I might have to get the screwdriver out and see if I can fit the new one. At least the oven is clean...

Onwards and slipping sideways.

'lo childs.
No running water from about 5pm yesterday, which is a bugger because aside from not being able to flush the toilet, or have a shower or make a drink of tea, there's also no heating.
The water in work was cut off on Monday but I just texted someone in work and it's apparently back on now.
So I'm going to go a little earlier than I should so I can get warm and go to the loo (overshare?).

Mark

With only today and tomorrow left I'm starting to wonder what my last film of this year is going to be as well as my first film of next year.
My 2010 film list will be posted late tomorrow night, for those that are curious.
Other than that, 'lo childs.

Mark

Morning all. Finally got to installing the new amplifier that I bought a month or so back. It takes about 30 minutes to warm up properly (valves FTW!) and then sounds absolutely lovely indeed. I now just need to get a new set of interconnectors as it's the first time I've not used a straight integrated amplifier, so currently only able to run off an iPod dock rather than my CD player.

Helpfully my local store back in my parent's neck of the woods have some exceptional ones at half price at the moment, which is nice. Just need to get them before the VAT increase.

Lo peeps

The family have been struck down with a stomach bug that's doing the rounds. Our friends son (15) was taken to hospital on Christmas day suffering from a very severe bout of this and he's still there

I'm staying very close to the wc today.........
