I was going to say meat, but that would lead to rumbles of concern as I added poultry to the poll.
So, what if your favourite animal to eat? Be it a rump, a breast, offal, the belly or a leg, roasted, grilled, baked, fried or even boiled, what would you have if you could only have one?
It's tough, but I think my current favourite is duck...

Given that I've been a vegetarian for several years, I shouldn't answer this. It used to be chicken.

You that voted turkey; how do you cook it? One thing I don't like is Christmas roast turkey - it's like a big chicken only not as tasty. However, I do love dived turkey thigh. It's my main meat and excellent in many dishes. Roast duck or goose or game bird is tastier, but it's just not affordable.
I also love kawaii little lambs, and yes I probably could eat a whole one.
However; I voted Pig. Why? It's so versatile. If I was stuck with one animal, then I'd have:
Suckling pig for the BBQ Ham Gammon Bacon, ten different types Sausage, ten different types Roast with Crackling Chops Boiling joint Mince for burgers or sauce Black Pudding Stewing meat Liver for curry or pate Spare Ribs, American or Chinese style
I'm sure there's something I've forgotten.
They're also really cute when they're little, and the big ones are excellent for recycling food scraps and your ex wife. Mmmm cannibalicious.
I don't eat cows. They have big brown eyes, and they're sacred.

Beef - steak medium rare. Chicken - Legs, garlic, onions, spices Fish - Salmon steaks, smoked salmon, raw salmon nigiri. Lamb - plain chops, no friggin' mint (i like mint but lamb and mint is overrated). Pork- roasted honey glazed gammon or unsmoked bacon Turkey - not a fan Duck - Crispy, hoi sin, pancakes Misc - Haggis, black pudding om nom nom nom Other - i eat most things that have lived int he sea. In fact I like most meats (cooked well) except modern turkey which is dry and bland and rough. Favourite type of meat is fish, as its nice and wet, and such a broad category that you'll never get bored (when you think abut it we don't say 'mammal' for land-based meats, so why treat fish as one type of meat? (just a thought )

Pork, purely because I love ham and gammon. Although I also love a good steak, and duck is very nice too (if not too fatty).

I loved beef, pork and duck, but I can't eat any of them any more I'm down to chicken, turkey and white fish... I like chicken best, although we have an excellent turkey farm on the other side of town, which does cold meats, sausages, steaks, marinaded steaks for grilling, spies and an assortment of other options, including mince for making things like chilli.
