Mornin' all.
Is there a quick and easy* way to join images together to make one single picture?
I don't mean overlaying images, I'd like to have a side-by-side view of something which I've taken two images of appear in the same image next to (or above) eachother.
Am I making sense?

Mark

* Also free if possible.

Something to make lots of pictures one to make a complete 360* view say (I.e. panorama)?

If so, you want Hugin.
I've not used it, but it's been recommended...And it's free :D

Umm, not quite Ben - but I like what you linked to and I'll be looking at that at some stage.
I don't have PhotoShop on this Mac and I just want two images to appear side-by-side in the same file.
I'm possibly not helping by not really explaining myself properly. Sorry.

Mark

No problem. I know people don't like it, but the GIMP will do that...Seashore is a GIMP hack which is far more OS X friendly (Aqua, not X11) and may do what you want, though it's features are limited...

If this is for printing you can do it in LR2 and then save as JPG/PDF/Whatever.

Wow, I downloaded that software, the Hugin one.

I'm currently stitching together a 24 pic 360degree panorama and so far it has processed 2 of the images and that took about an hour?!?!

The way it creates the preview is deceptively quick because it uses very low res, small size images.

This is the first one I've done so I was messing around a bit with it. I can't wait to see what the final result is like.

I found out that the globe style pictures from that website were done with a 15mm fisheye lens which exaggerates the curve of the rendered image.

I'm going to experiment a bit more with this software though :D

Thanks for the link!
