Morning all, Got back to Aber last night and and up for work  Holiday now over I feel like I could really do with a day or two to sort out luggage and whatnot...

Morning all.
According to my calendar, today is a bank holiday in lieu of New Year's Day being on a Saturday. The news that some folk are back at work surprises me.
Still, as long as they also get a day off or extra money as compensation for working a bank holiday, that's all well and good.
Today we discombobulate the rather tired and tatty festive decorations. They will be packed away and then we'll forget where we put them come the middle of December.

Evening all. I'm back home in sunny (?) Peterborough (no idea if it was sunny as it was dark when I got home). Another day off tomorrow then back to the joys of work for 2011. What fun  Anywho, enjoy what's rest of the day folks.

Morning all, girlfriend had her shoulder op yesterday and was recovering well last night - although the painkiller they had injected into her shoulder during the op was starting to wear off as I left. Snowing again, and I've worked out that the problems with my foot are caused by the snow and ice. Walking on uneven surfaces and my feet slipping out from under me are causing the most pains to come back. Every time I rest and spend a few days indoors, the pains go away, then a walk with the dog or going shopping or to work and the pains come back, once I've spent a few minutes walking outside.

Morning all.
Was due to go into work today but we've had a bit of snow. Well, quite a lot by the looks of things. Local council of course have not prepared for this at all, no roads gritted etc. Given I'd spend half the day sorting three weeks worth of automated reports & what have you which I can happily do from home that's exactly what I'm doing. Bit bored with snow now though.

Lo peeps
Back to work tomorrow so I thought I'd ease myself in gently by getting up half an hour before dawn. 08:15 it was then and I've got some jolly nice pics of the eclipse sunrise to show for it. Now I'm off down the end of the runway since a few of the jets have taken off.

Morning all
Made the mistake of eating breakfast with the Wench this morning (about 6:45). Now rather hungry and my lunch break isn't until 14:15. I may have eaten my lunch before that point at current rate of progress.
In other news, I wore my new coat for the first time today. It's lovely to arrive at work not dripping with sweat.

Morning all, Got up, cleared the snow from the cars and went to college only to find out I didn't need to go in today. I'd better get back to work/college/uni stuff.
