Thanks John, I don't like fish fingers, but now have a craving for fish finger sandwiches...Which I'm less likely to get....

Things to watch...I currently watch a variety of this on iPlayer, most commonly Have I Got News For You, or something else that looks half interesting...Or SCRUBS...

The new BBC documentary South Pacific is very good.

You can catch it on iPlayer.

Not a trekkie/trekker.

In that case I'd agree with Foggy about the BBC iPlayer. Lots of good, (and varied) stuff on there.

MacGyver

Is this show as good now as it was in the past? I remember trying to get round to watching it as a kid. I saw one ep, loved it and then tried to remember to watch it again. Unfortunately missed most of the eps. The ones I do remember involve a car being lifted into the air (?hot-air balloon ?plane) and one where MacGuyver's in a hot air balloon and there's a leak and he uses a map to fix it.

I don't want to download it and be disappointed.

The quality is shocking, some of the eps wouldn't even play early on, Mac's hair is ridiculous and some of the story lines are little trapped in the late 80s. There's also the slight problem that some of the stuff you see him do has been ruined by Mythbusters. HOWEVER, even with all of that, it's great fun! His reluctance to use guns and rely on his brain is a nice change from a lot of stuff these days. Frankly, I love it.

Clearly not the best show ever, but quite possibly the definition of what to watch with food! In fact, as a family we used to have dinner whilst watching Mac every Saturday back in the early 90s!

I remember it coming on in the afternoons on Saturday on BBC1 or 2 (can't remember which, think it was 1).

Might give it a bash.

If you must watch something, how about watching some of the tennis at Roland Garros? I'm not usually a fan of clay court tennis but it seems quite good this year.

Well I've started watching MacGyver (season 2). It's not as bad as I thought it was gonna be.

Just watched The Wish Child. I swear I've seen this ep before. In fact, some of the eps have a more familiar feel to them, as though I've watched them before. Maybe I have.
