There's no 'cracked' about it. But I guess

'Dumb application coder's epic fail in license file check' doesn't make for as good a headline.

So... by the time it's released, you'd think Apple will have changed things just enough.
Although this smacks of 'I can do this amazing thing, but y'know, I don't actually want to show you. You just have to trust me. Then maybe I'll do it later.'
Whatever.

Well it is cracked on the App Store if it emulates the licence check

I don't think it'll frustrate developers, more just encourage them to not bother releasing it, as people will pirate even free apps

There's no evidence it can do that. In fact there's no evidence it can do anything at all. All we have so far is an outlandish claim by someone on the internet. Excuse me if I don't take that at face value.

Or maybe it'll, you know, get developers to actually do their licence checks properly, rather than the half-arsed job the Angry Birds devs made of it?

If you leave your front door open and I steal all your stuff, that doesn't make me a master cat-burglar. More than likely we never will see this app because it doesn't actually work with the vast majority of apps that have been coded properly anyway. The whole 'I'm going to wait until the app store is full of crap before I release this because you know, I wouldn't want anyone to do anything bad with it' is manifest cobblers of the worst sort.

Absolutely, though there will allways be people cracking software, even the top games (and every games console on the market) has been hacked, if someone leaves even 1 gap it'll be exploited. A rushed piece of software from Apple will be cracked due to the rapidly increasing userbase with younger users

I do think it is crap for the most part, the delay of the crack seems to me that it isn't finished yet.
