Morning all,

Just had some cheese on toast after getting in from my night shift. I'm now waiting for the rest of the house to awaken, then I shall head to bed!

See you this evening!

Morning all,

Not long been up, I spent 6 hours volunteering at a sandbagging station last night, and I'm feeling it this morning.

I'll be back there tonight, if you're seeing any pictures on the news you'll know why.

I'm finding it hard to come to terms with the pictures on the news this morning, apparently my street is now on the warning list. We're thinking of seeking higher ground tomorrow morning but I can't see water anywhere near us at the moment.

Enjoy your day.

Morning all.

Busy day yesterday and another one today.
So much to do before leaving for my meeting.

Morning all,

First things first... don't take any chances Dave.

OK, here's the latest on the car. The coil has has been replaced, and apparently one of the injectors has also gone, and the mechanic said something about burnt wiring... the upshot is that it's going to cost between £260 and £300 to repair.

Oh well, FS English in 12 minutes, so I'd better get on with stuff.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Hello.

It looks like the sun won't bother to get up today. It makes me wonder why I bothered to get up.

Onwards and sideways!

Mornin' peeps.
Why is this month seemingly going so incredibly fast? It's not fair.

Morning all. Wench still quite unwell, neither of us slept well at all due to major coughing fits throughout the night. Difference is she's off work with the illness...

Still, a day on onsite today so should be a bit quieter.

Morning all.

What a miserable day. Dull, grey and raining.
And I have to walk to the other side of Peterborough this evening for an appointment

Ah well, never mind. Have a great day folks.

Lo peeps

Early repayment of the mortgage (interest only) lump sum is poo I have found out. Otherwise the rest of the early retirement package looks well feasable. I could be retired by May

Hello,

Thought I'd say "hi" as well as this being my first post of the day. Obviously I'm new here, the post count gives it away.

I'm a friend of forquare, and I work with him. I needed a new forum to spend my time on, and he pointed me here. So here I am.

:)

Slipped on the ice going to the shops on Monday, it hurt a bit during the day, but by evening it was very sore. Around midnight, it was so painful, that we went to A&E. They found I have an "extra" bone in my foot, but couldn't find any break - at least no new break, the "extra" bone seems to be a large splinter which got broken off, when I was younger.

I now have to wear a splint for the next 6 weeks, so my left ankle is "Forrest Gumped" at the moment.

And welcome to the forums DarkMunk.
