Hello.

Another no-show from our closest star. Well, it's light out, but only just.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all,

Not happy this morning. Picked up the car yesterday, (£290 to repair it) and I managed to drive it for about 8 miles before the warning message came back.

About to phone the mechanic, so watch this space...

That's all for now, so...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Oh, wait... I just did

Morning World,

I have cast off the shackles of stress caused by extreme workload and managed to find my way back to the light. It's been such a hectic few months and there hasn't been much holding my sanity together so I'll just give you the highlights:

- Finally got my pay package sorted out with the massive change in job role, it's far more than I expected and included quite a hefty bonus which made for an excellent Xmas and New Year. Now I just need my bosses to agree on a change of roles and resps and then I'll be much less stressed than currently.
- Got the test results for my NEBOSH General Certificate exams that I took in October last year, 92% overall and the highest mark in the country for the year, I now get invited to a dinner and have my certificate presented to me by the guy who took the course.
- Had a brilliant Xmas and New Year, most notably was the New Years Eve party at the "WamBam Club" in Picadilly, old fashioned cabaret, burlesque, magic and comedy, all with a premium 3 course meal, it was fab and apart from the girl-shoes it was easily the best New Years Eve in living memory.
- My folks took their lead from our trip to Egypt and left for a holiday there on the 29th, text reports suggest they've had a fabulous time which is good news indeed.
- Our Florida Kingsnake Cyril had another shed yesterday, he's now nearly doubled in size since we got him and is coming on very well, we've had some biting episodes lately which have unnerved me a bit, but last nights handling shows that I'm pretty much over them. Not serious bites or anything, but they do make me jump!
- I'm helping to organise and execute a huge event at work this afternoon, involving the entire company so if anyone wants anything from Speedo International Ltd today, get your call in before 12:00 when all the phones go to voicemail. It should be lots of fun, it's certainly lots of work.

Otherwise, life continues pretty well, the fish are all well and happy, so much so that we've got two tanks in the kitchen housing baby fish at various levels of development, I'm fighting the urge to have a good clear out of the house, and clean it from top to bottom which is my usual thing to do in the New Year, but I may submit and take a couple of days off next week to get it done. The holidays were great but I always feel like I need time off to recover and get straight again.

Right, I think that'll do for now, I'll try to be better about posting and not just reading (which I have been doing)

Take Care Y'All *hugs*

Morning.

Late night + booze = slight hangover.

Off to site in a while after a bit of a sleep.

Remembered the wife's birthday so it's all good.

Morning.

Ignore me. I'm the irritable one in the corner.
