Not mice then? ;)

This is a tricky one. I'm going to have to ponder. I may have a better idea when we get a little nearer to lunch time.

although we have an excellent turkey farm on the other side of town, which does <SNIP> an assortment of other options, including mince for making things like chilli.

The purple one uses a lot of turkey now as it's cheaper than buying chicken or mince beef (Although I managed to pick up 2KG Mince beef for £6 t'other day, and the turkey was £3.56 for 500G). It's nice, and on the whole, you don't taste the difference if you stick it in a Bolognese or marinade the meat or similar...

You that voted turkey; how do you cook it? One thing I don't like is Christmas roast turkey - it's like a big chicken only not as tasty. However, I do love dived turkey thigh. It's my main meat and excellent in many dishes. Roast duck or goose or game bird is tastier, but it's just not affordable.

I also love kawaii little lambs, and yes I probably could eat a whole one.

However; I voted Pig. Why? It's so versatile. If I was stuck with one animal, then I'd have:

Suckling pig for the BBQ
Ham
Gammon
Bacon, ten different types
Sausage, ten different types
Roast with Crackling
Chops
Boiling joint
Mince for burgers or sauce
Black Pudding
Stewing meat
Liver for curry or pate
Spare Ribs, American or Chinese style

I'm sure there's something I've forgotten.

They're also really cute when they're little, and the big ones are excellent for recycling food scraps and your ex wife. Mmmm cannibalicious.

I don't eat cows. They have big brown eyes, and they're sacred.

Ditto.

I love wild boar.
It's quite rich though, so probably chicken for day to day stuff.
I don't eat seafood, although I'm partial to seaweed (yes, the real stuff, although the stuff in the Chinese restaurant is yummy as well).
Cows are yummy.
Some bits of pig are ok. Not a big pork fan, but I do like bacon.

Miscellaneous: Haggis, black pudding - om nom nom indeed.
