Lo peeps

Evening off tonight - just need to make the tea, wash up, tidy the living room, clean the main bathroom, walk the dog and put the kids to bed. Should be relaxing sometime around 9pm

Afternoon

Quiet evening to look forward to as SWMBO is out - might get some time to do a few housekeeping jobs on the PC

Morning all,

Went to bed later than anticipated last night. Faye was due back late after wood turning and at 22:30 I decided to get ready for bed, in the middle of this she came home and seeing as I'm not going to see her for a couple of days (she's going down to St. Ives) I thought I stay up and see her.
An hour later and it's getting on for midnight and I'm just starting to think about bed again, up at 6am and not feeling too bright.

On top of my sleepyness I left my train keys on a unit in the depot last night. One was my drivers key while the other was my reset pin - this can be used to reset safety critical systems after the driver has isolated them. I didn't realise until I got home, so phoned DarkMunk and asked him to nip over and grab them for me. Turns out the Team Leader got there first and I've got to see him this morning, really feeling apprehensive about that...

On the plus side, I got a chapter and a half further through the Perl Catalyst tutorial I'm working through. I've learnt how to build a simple application with no authentication/authorisation, but with simple CRUD. So I guess that's good...

Hello.

Not sure what to make of the day so far. Then again, it's early yet.

Morning all,

It's a bit, (only a bit though) foggy up north, so everyone decided to drive at 30MPH on the motorway...

Adding some more stuff to my kick-ass "Effective Powerpoint Presentations" slideshow, for the the Mac loving graphics group this afternoon.

Better get back to it.

Have a great day everyone.

:)
