Ha ha, how things change...

Quote:
According to a Warner Bros. press release, Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.

I'll have more on this later, but I've known Hardy was Bane for a while but was sworn to secrecy. And As I've said for a while now, I've long heard that Nolan and co. wanted to use Catwoman in a possible third Batman film -- IF they could find a way to use the character in a fresh manner (You can listen to our podcast on this topic from June of '10 HERE). BOF was also privy to knowing (and NOT from "Team Nolan") that the TDKR announcement was coming, but I had to play it off a bit.

You can check out my take on the "Big News" in a special edition of THE BOF MAILBAG's Question of the Day

UPDATE: You can check out the official press release sent to BOF by Warner Bros. HERE.

That's made my day, especially the Bane news :D

If this thread is for all things comic book related, should we start talking about the comic inspired films here?

You'll never really know 'til you see it onscreen, but that looks more like an elongated Bat-bike from the 60s :(

Epic spiderman filming shot. Running down the stree, then flipping into a truck!

Jeez! I'd have thought they'd have used CGI for that sort of thing!
