Does anyone know of any software that finds duplicates and deletes them on iTunes? Boss man wants to know so I'll get a gold star if I can help :)

If the software is free even better!

iTunes—under File»Show Duplicates

Reports of its reliability are mixed, so you might want to take a look at Dupin: http://dougscripts.com/itunes/itinfo/dupin.php

Apparently, iTunes will find the duplicates but you have to remove them manually—a tedious process if there are a lot. The software I linked to is much cleverer.

Thanks Simon. Yeah I know about the find duplicates thing but boss man has thousands so too many to do manually. I shall point him to the page you linked and hopefully he will remember this during my pay appraisal next year :)

I hate bosses. But I love pay.

Oh, the number of times I've wanted to call my boss an obnoxious prick but have held myself back because I like the pay have been numerous!
