UHT keeps for several months. I can't stand "fresh" milk because it's always half gone-off before you even open it. It's also stupidly expensive and incredibly inconvenient.
If you haven't tried UHT for many years, then you've not experienced the modern product which is totally different. It just tastes like milk is supposed to. It does not have that "boiled alive" flavour it did in the 80s.
