There seems to be one not far from me, according to the AutoTrader site.

I keep looking on there for likely motors, gauging prices and so on. One problem is, living in north Kent, searching in a radius of 20 or 30 miles inevitably includes Essex.

Another problem, now that Best Beloved is unable to drive, I'll have to cadge lifts or pay out for a taxi to pick up any vehicle I might buy.

At least you didn't have to travel by plane to another country, buy the car, drive 300+ miles to a ferry and then drive home from the ferry port once you crossed the water.
