Morning all,
Back up in Aber today. Back in late 2009 Faye's Dad was knocked off his bike and died, this week is the final hearing. I believe it starts around lunchtime today and is set to finish on Wednesday...My Birthday...
It's going to be a hard and difficult week I reckon. I'm glad I have a break booked for the weekend!

Greetings.
Ben, that sounds like it's going to be a hard week. You're a resilient bod, though, so I suspect you'll come through.
The sane appear to making every attempt to retake The Asylum. I'm rooting for them in my own understated way.

I was going to put "and yet another week starts" then i read Ben's posting, sort of puts things more in perspective.

Morning all. Welcom to the last day of January 2011. Where did the month go? Anywho, it's quite a nice day 'round 'ere, if a little cold. Absolutely the best time to be stuck in an office Have a great day folks.

Pay day today, which is nice. Already transferred pretty much all of it out again for various bills etc, but that's just the way I run my finances as it means I know how much spending money I have until the end of the month. In other good news, Carphone Warehouse gave me £112 trading in my old (and completely destroyed) iPhone 3G, so replacing it hasn't been anything like as expensive as I had initially feared.

Evening all, Pay day today, and most of it has already gone on bills and rent... Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Morning all, Thanks Heather and Alun for your comments yesterday Day one of the trial was apparently quite lengthly and they concentrated on witness statements, today they hear the 'experts' statements. I think we are all quite resilient bods around here! Today, for me, I have some software testing to do on the trains. Apparently no one flips switches, pulls handles, and sits there for eleven minutes quite like I do...

Morning.
Managed to offload the rubbish car yesterday. I'd planned on sending it to a Vauxhall breakers, but the guy I spoke to about it rang back and asked if he could buy it himself. He came round last night, and once we'd coaxed it into life, he drove it away in exchange for a modest sum, for his mum - if he can mend it properly.
So, the Wrectra lives to see another road. I hope he manages to get it working sensibly. He's actually picked up a bit of a bargain, if I'm honest.
Anyway, Best Beloved and I are selling some hobby gear which we've built up over the past couple of decades. It's never going to be used, so we aim to let other people in the model railways world have first dibs. We've already managed to sell three kits, and there's money coming in to the house for a change!
Onwards and sideways.

I'll be glad to reach that period in April around the Royal wedding - time off work, bloody ISA/banking search will be over etc... At the moment it just seems there isn't enough time in the day (except when I'm in work)

Morning. 4am was the Penny wake-up call this morning. I didn't really get back to sleep properly after that. Worse than having children sometimes. The Word Of The Day is: skeinI encourage you all to go look it up and use it in conversation today.
