I'm sure that can be arranged.

Greetings.

There's a job that's been advertised for over a month now. I've not bothered applying because I didn't feel qualified for it, but I'm not thinking, since they've obviously not been able to locate the right candidate, I may as well go for it. Or not.

Go for it Heather. You can't get a job you never bother applying for in the first place.

Whats the worst that caould happen.. they offer you the job. <reasoning behind this viewpoint is that if you dont get it nothing has changed and if they do offer it, you have to actually make a decision eek!!>

Lo peeps

Today I handed in my request for voluntary early retirement - a legal and binding contract which could see me finishing work for good within a month or so (I'll hear in a couple of weeks)
I'm aware this may be slightly insensitive given the state of this forums members employment (or lack of it) at the moment but if I don't take the chance I'm going to lose out big time.
Al

Good for you, If I could retire now I would but unfortunately thats not an option, redundancy maybe (I will find out on Monday.. maybe  )

I don't have a TV :(
I've got one of those dongles you plug into the computer, but the reception in my flat is terrible (no aerial on the roof), it can't pick up a single channel...

If you get the iPlayer desktop application, you can watch BBC channels over the internet at least. :)

What do you mean, the licence? AFAIK that only applies to live broadcasts, rather than catch-up TV :|

It's also the estimated delivery date of my Iceland photo book. (8+)

I just pictured loads of photos of food aisles that you spent ages composing
