I suspect that the pay and power are all that keeping him there.

Vince Cable - Minister For Stating the Bleeding Obvious.
yet another Liberal Democrat policy the coalition isn't going to implement.

Pre-election, he came across as one of the few politicians who talked sense. Though, I suppose that easy to do, if you have no intentions of honouring your manifesto promises.

Not long before the council elections so we will see how this affects them in the polls.

You'd be surprised how much sense Labour now makes in opposition...

at least Mr VC is still getting the message out and in the press don't give up all hope just yet as the Tories will have to back track on this one ...

They were making sense before the election. If they had changed leaders before it might have been very different. That said Nu Labour messed up big time with PFI's. Though since they were a tory invention not really surprising really.

Lib Dems spouting forth about bankers bonuses holds no water with me. Whilst Clegg, Cable & co are rubber stamping Tory policies, they are supporting this. After all, they made the Tories’ lives easy by supporting them and giving them the keys to number 10. Cameron would find things far tougher to do if the Lib Dems weren’t on their side.
