LMAO - 4 replies in a minute or two. Obviously a subject this forum is more familiar with than I am I'm sure I've heard the word before, but I just looked it up. Not something I'll be doing. Not even with a gerbil, no matter how fond I am of small fury creatures

I'll fess up - spotted it on Stephen Fry's twitter noise generator a couple of days ago. I've been itching to use it. As the vicar said to the showgirl.

Great [/sarcasm] I've been bumped onto FGriday's flight, so now I'm stuck in Abergloom for two days.

Stopped at local beach on the way into work this morning. Spotted two guys rinsing and drying (in the drizzle) a big blue Nissan GTR. So I wondered over and offered my thoughts that they were fighting a losing battle. Turns out they were down there doing press photos of the 2011 GTR for Nissan. So there it was (M1 GTR was the plate, if you're of a curiousity) with 1500 miles on the clock. Made some general enquiries about how he got started photographing cars - turns out his old man launched Car magazine. Which would help, of course. So he got all the inside scoop on what the picture editors are looking for, what they've got in their archive, etc. Talked a bit more about the difference between photographing for yourself and for a client. All in all, an interesting 15 minutes. When Dad went down nearer lunchtime, they were still there, towelling it down. Apparently a lot of car photography is waiting for the light in dodgy car parks trying to keep a car dry in the rain.

A bigger job is probably trying to avoid getting it stolen from said dodgy car park.

Sounds cool. I hope they were using MFs or terry towels Think you can turn it into some work? ION, OMG how awful are the Schumacher Bats?! I know it's been discussed here before, but I realised that I'd never seen them and in beginning to pack up my possessions last night I came across the DVDs. Adam West would be proud.

Let Go After years of trying, I broke this habit in a day by decoupling the action and the neurological reward. I set up a simple 30-second delay I had to wait through, in which I couldn't do anything else, before any new page or chat client would load (and only allowed one to run at once). The urge to check all those sites magically vanished--and my 'productive' computer use was unaffected.
