Another dank grey day and Peterborough city council are doing yet more bridge maintenacne on the parkways (ringroads) around the city, specifically the one leading out onto the A1... until June. Deep joy.

Woke up to seven emails from work.
Piling on the workload for this evening.
Overall - More work, more hours, more responsibility, same pay.
I know I'm lucky to have a job at the moment, but some of these things are taking the piss.

Lo all, Absolutely lashing it down out there today. I'm conducting staff appraisals today too. Luckily, I have a very good team so not too many difficult conversations.
