Well if they're Muslims they smell, dont integrate, abuse and hide their women under blankets, speak all foreign like so you dont know what they're saying and well.... blow stuff up. Dont they?

Isn't that sectarianism? Racism would be saying "I would ban all Iranians". But it would be pointless saying that as it looks like they're doing that anyway.

This has to be probably the most ignorant comment I have ever come across on this forum, along with a few other posts in this thread

As far as I know, "Iranian" is not a distinct race. Would Banning all Iranians not be "xenophobism"??

How long has this logo been out? Why have they only raised this "issue" now? Are they trying to divert attention from something?

Oh no! The Iranians won't be there [/sarcasm] It's not like they make a huge contribution to the drama or medals tables anyway.

They beat Ireland in the medals table last time out, among a number of others. 52nd in the table.

Whenever I travel into London by train, I have to go through Stratford. Every time, I think "what a [LIFTED] waste of money". What angers me the most is the fact that the regenerationof the area was tied to winning the Olympics bid. No games, no regeneration. Following that, the logo we get is patronising "graffiti style" arrangement if shape which, sadly, is about as "hip" and as "down with the kids" as a politician appears when visiting a "yoof project" and dons a baseball cap to appear to be part of the gang. It's a grotesque in every you look at it.

The worst thing about Stratford station is that it looks 1000 times better than Stratford itself.

Am I the only person that thinks it spells Zoiz rather than Zion? How can the Iranians interpret a 2 as a Z, then three letters later interprt a 2 as an N?
