I know, I know. Your review got right to the point about this film but I just want to see. Having said that, I watched the first 5 minutes and it looks awful. Taped the rest but not sure I'll bother to watch it.

Well, if you do watch the rest of it, at least you'll be able to back up my review with first hand experience.

A Facebook friend kept posting last night things like "why am I watching this" and "I'm turning it off, it's sick" or "OMG but I want to see what happens to them"

I have not and will not watch the human centipede mind you.

New blog post http://planet-veato.blogspot.com/2011/0 ... acked.html

Also would it be wrong if I also used the content of that blog to create an article here i.e. duplicate it? I'm more than happy to publish it in both places if the admins are. Feel free to send me a PM telling me yay or nay (or just say yes or no - up to you!)

What I do is publish something here or on my own blog, and then wait a few days before posting it somewhere else.

So, in other words, I have no objection to seeing the same article here, although I've already read it there, as it were. Different markets, to an extent.

It should be possible to aggregate feeds from blogs (providing the blog owners don't mind). This way there wouldn't be a penalty from search engines for duplicate content.

I was looking in to it but it was such a legal grey area getting content from other site (when effectively you'd actually only be linking to them but copying the first paragraph) so I didn't pursue it too far.

With blogs from forum members it should be a little easier.

In principle, I'd be okay with lifting stuff from my blog. However, not everything I post there I want to post here. Most of my ramblings tend to be fairly irrelevant to what I want to blog about on x404!

But could you not tag certain posts "X404" and then give SasPro the RSS feed for that tag? It's certainly possible in WP; not sure about some of the other hosted platforms.

It may be possible, but I don't use WP for my blog.

I don't mind repurposing my own content. I generally make edits as I do, anyway.

Nope, but Posterous does seem to do it too.

At this point I have no idea what all the more experienced bloggers are taking about, feeds and whatnot. What I shall do then is post content here if I think it's suitable and if it's duplicate (from my own personal blog) the decision whether to publish or not is yours. :D

And I really should start tagging my blog entries!!

Why do people blog?

If I've ever stumbled across any they seem to be self obsessed vacuous tales of woes and opinion. No offence intended, I've not read anybody's on here. :D
