A blog can be about anything, technically even Gizmodo is a blog.

I started mine to share what I know. It's evolved to a place where I can vent my spleen, as well as share knowledge. I actually enjoy it. I follow various blogs allied with hobby and work themes. One of the history blogs was run as an offshoot of someone's PhD thesis, where he could put the information he'd uncovered but not strictly relevant to his thesis.

True, but you know what I mean. Any I stumble across seem to be vacuous drivel with opinion for the sake of opinion. Technical or speciality based blogs written by people with experience and/or qualifications in a field I would categorise as being something else entirely.

I can see where you're coming from tbh. I've only recently started mine and I intend it to be a mix of my daily nonsense with hopefully some blogs around what I know/do that other might find useful or informative. Or given that I'm an opinionated swine I might just be self obsessed, spouting woes and opinion. In which case why dont you have a look and you can decide (link in sig)

I'll stop reading then. Maybe, to be fair, I should give some a chance. I can see how personal experience with equipment, for example, gives a good insight where normal reviews wouldn't and tips are always useful. Just promise not to start writing about what Cashley Asshole or Jordan are up to please. Nice background BTW. For some reason seeing the Earth from space brings a tear to my eye. Never understood why. Maybe my genes are telling me 'this is'nt home'.

Spending £14 can have that effect. Lie down until it passes.

Enjoying some Appeldryck med Hjortronsmak (apple and cloudberry cider) from Ikea, but it's so sweet, it's like drinking apple juice and honey!
