Day 05, a song that reminds you of someone.

Really tricky this one, as many songs understandably have significance with regard to family, etc. so I've come up with a good one-

Jefferson Starship, "Nothing's gonna stop us now"

As it is from Mannequin, it always reminds me of Kim Cattrall. Phwoaar.

She may be getting on a little, but I've fancied her for decades.

Day 2 - A Song You Hate

The recent Black Eyed Peas one that had 'drity bit' in it springs to mind. Some sort of terrible corruption of I've Had the Time of My Life IIRC.

Taking an old song a and doing bad things to it

Day 8 - A Song That You Know All The Words To

Miss Mary - Vic Chesnutt

Filthy, filthy lyrics, which is why they must stick so well ;)

Day 9 - A Song That You Can Dance To:

Shake Your Money Maker - Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac

I don't actually dance mind, that would be too frightening for those in the vicinity.

Day 06 A song that reminds you of somewhere.

Many years back, we went on a club camping weekend. Later on at night, in the pouring rain, sitting under umbrellas, tent awnings, etc. we were singing this song at the tops of our voices (about 30 of us).

Ace of Bass, All that she wants.

Reminds me of camping in Beddgelert, Snowdonia.

And reminds me of the hundreds of mozzies.

day 03 - a song that makes you happy

Search for a Hero by M People.

Heather Small has an incredible voice and I find this to be a very uplifting song.

day 04 - a song that makes you sad

The Rose

My cousin sang it at her wedding. She died almost exactly a year later and it was played at her funeral.
