When the main character and his friend have to escape the bank thingy. I think. I'm not sure. It was a good game but I think other games got in the way/

That bit jars with the rest of the game, completely trial and error (and more than a little crap). Once you're past that the game goes all out, you really should persevere beyond that bit, trust me

OK, there's a new trailer out there, but if at all, I suggest you only watch until the bit where it gives you the release date etc - there's what could be a decent-sized spoiler at the end In fact the first section if you wanna call it that may even give away too much for you, so FYI... I'm not even gonna link to it as a result

Batman: Arkham City campaign length is 8 hours-plus, says Rocksteadyhttp://www.computerandvideogames.com/29 ... s-minimum/That's pretty much win to my mind

I know B:AA took me around two weeks to complete, based on 1-2 hrs per day as well as doing those silly riddlers things. So in theory, the second game should be about the same if not longer.

Is this the gameplay trailer? The first part pretty much seems to be from a demo that certain sites has published their thoughts about after having seen, so it's nice to actually see stuff they've talked about. However i'm confused about what you at the end? What was the spoiler? :S

That's the one, it was the bit about the 'lie' right at the end that bothered me - at this point, for all we know that could be a pretty substantial part of the narrative

Aha i got you, but then i thought it was a rather pointless comment to make. Since i didn't think it was announced that the "lie" was actually real, only inferred? And whether or not the lie was real, the reply stated was most definitely true .

The situation shown didn't help my paranoia about spoilers either though Batman: Arkham City - The Riddler revealedhttp://www.computerandvideogames.com/29 ... -revealed/

80% of Batman Arkham City takes place on the streets - RocksteadyThe majority of Batman: Arkham City's gameplay takes place on the streets, developer Rocksteady's told PSM3 magazine. Speaking in the mag's latest issue, which features a four-page Arkham City preview with new details and screens, the developer said building a larger world in the sequel has been a "huge technical challenge". "Interiors are locked to specific missions, but 80% of the game takes place on the streets," Rocksteady's marketing game manager Dax Ginn told PSM3. "This means you can begin the game and just start exploring," he added, assuring the mag that a focus on freedom doesn't mean sacrificing the narrative. "Plot is really important to us," he said. "Our objective was not to make a bigger game world just for the sake of it. We want to fill it with content, and there's no better world than Batman's universe to take inspiration from. "We have 97 people on the team, compared to 65 on the first game. Because we've decided to make such a large world we had to bring in more artists, animators and so on. It's been a pretty huge technical and creative undertaking for the team." Earlier this month we posted 76 Arkham City screenshots from the latest gameplay trailer. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/29 ... ocksteady/

I really hope it's not just Batman having to run through the streets - that would be lame! It'd be like something out of Fools'n'Horses. For me, Batman is all about stealth and shadows, so there has to be a cool but ninja-esque way of traversing the city.

They'll need to get the tone right, that's for sure - I kinda want a focus on the plot over 'Here's another bunch of thugs to swoop down on'. Not that that isn't cool in moderation

Aye. Once in a while, it'd be cool to swoop down on some thugs and take them out. Currently watching Tim Burton's Batman on ITV2.
