Nice and clear here, but too many buildings in the way to catch it low on the horizon. By the time I can see it clearly, it'll be dark and much higher.

Well, it's low here too Heather but the cloud is so thick all I can see is a yellowish glow. I'll keep an eye open just in case the clouds suddenly part though......

That looks like a sun  Sadly I just read this thread. However, I did notice the nice big moon. Wish I had my camera with me last night, the moon was this superb blood/orange colour over the bay, really low at about 11.30pm.
