No, but then it's in the Mail, so it'll either be a complete fabrication, bordering on the truth, or true but wrapped up in the Mail's unique world view.

I'll be checking with my MEP that this is actually true TBH, the Daily Fail and the Express have a really, really bad habit of being completely wrong on anything related to the European Union.
EDIT: And also, on a related note, Daniel Hannan MEP is a twat, IMO.

That would be my take on it. Though if the Tories are honestly thinking of leaving the EU it will mean many of you lose your jobs as companies move to somewhere else in Europe. Businesses particularly big businesses like the advantages of being within the EU. If we are out of it then your summer holidays will be that less pleasant as you spend hours in customs explaining why you are travelling.

I don't want to pull out of the EU, just the EU human rights laws.
I want to boot out hate preachers rather than pay them benifits to stay here. I want to boot out people (at the end of their prison sentence) who come here then commit murders rapes etc. I don't want people to cost the tax payer huge sums in legal aid to go to court to get some wacky "human right" enforced.
Thanks to the EU, criminals come before victims and teh general public these days.

Don't forget the human rights things are nothing to do with the EU itself. The ECHR predates the EU by quite a long way.

Firstly, and I've said it many, many times, the ECHR and the European Union are two completely separate entities.
Secondly, if we pulled out of the ECHR, we'd be joining an elite club whose only other member is Belarus. What a great message that sends out.
Finally, if you believe what the Daily Fail, the Torygraph, the Express etc publish about the EU & ECHR, we should be kicking you out.
