Okay so I've received a couple of crazy texts from someone.
First one: "Baby! Hows things? Tonights the night..."
Second one: "How was chillis? Had a cool night, sorry I didn't give you a lift..be nice to catch up soon lover! x"
A few things:
1. The guy who sent me the texts is someone I used to play poker with. We'd meet up as a group on a weekly basis.
2. I knew him for only a few months and when I moved, I didn't keep in touch.
3. I knew him only as a friend and nothing more.
He's essentially confused me with someone else. He could quite possibly be gay but I didn't know him well enough to find out.
If I respond and tell him he's got the wrong person, it could turn embarassing. However, I doubt I'd ever meet him again.
If I didn't, either he'd continue or he might slowly realise he had the wrong person.
What would you do?

Tell him you're not the droid he's looking for.
Or keep ignoring it. *shrug*
I'd probably let him know, as if he has got the number confused with someone, it could cause some grief between him and the other person.

If he was gay it doesn't explain the complete and utter randomness, must have just got the numbers in his address book mixed up.

Just respond with the standard "who is this?" text and say "I think you have the wrong number".
