It feels nippier than FF3.6. I like it. Especially with Adblock Plus and NoScript installed!

The status bar is floating, and only appears when there's actually a status to view - mousing over links to see where they point, that sort of thing. Haven't actually found a status bar as such yet. Mark

There is a status bar but you have to look in the menus. Not sure what it's called (am on piephone at the mo). Otherwise forecastfox wouldn't work!

There is an option for the Add On bar in the toolbars menu, but it doesn't seem to have a purpose from what I've seen so far. All mine does when I have it on is to say EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE. Probably down to me using a Dalek theme.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I seem to be having some "proper" issues now after switching over the FF4 (as opposed to merely aesthetic ones).
The browser seems to have slowed down quite a bit, for example:
- When typing a forum post if i type over the length of the box (i.e. a scroll bar has to appear/slide down) then it takes a couple of seconds before it will do this. Previously it would be the instant i went over.
- Scrolling is no longer smooth and more in small sections (this is despite turning on smoothscrolling, which made no difference).
- Tabs take a few seconds to switch to after clicking on them.
- Pages seem like they take longer to load.
Didn't have any of these issues before i upgraded from 3.6

All seems fine on OS X. Facelift aside, doesn't feel startlingly different from 3.6 in terms of speed.

You shouldn't have to 'add-in' what every other web browser in the whole wide world ever (probably) as well as previous versions of this web browser had. Anyway, I really only use it for two Flash heavy sites, so it's not really worth it for me. I use the simple TARDIS theme on mine. (8+) Mark

I have to say, nothing I've read here or elsewhere makes me want to install it over my current version

Love it. Subjectively, it feels much faster than 3.6 and the interface is much nicer - particularly the disappearance of the statusbar
